New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh has topped the list of states which released funds for the development of solar parks, according to data released by the renewable energy ministry in Parliament on Monday.
Andhra Pradesh was followed by Rajasthan at second position and Karnataka at third position. Other leading states were Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh, according to the data.
Funds under the scheme were released based on achievement of specified milestones. Four out of the five parks sanctioned in Jharkhand were sanctioned in October 2021.
