Madhya Pradesh: CM dedicated 380 solar-powered anganwadi buildings to the public in Harda district. PM Modi interacted with some beneficiaries of the scheme and tried to find out how ownership papers have has changed their lives.
“The soul of India resides in villages. The strength of Indian villages is in their land. People are not using it for their development. They have to face disputes, fights and many difficulties in proving their right over their own land. Gandhiji had also expressed concern over this situation. It is our responsibility to make improvements in this area,” Modi said, adding that when he was CM of Gujarat, he started working on it.
The benefits of ‘Swamitva Yojana’ are part of a much bigger nationwide campaign, the PM said, adding: “It will financially empower villages. People will get freedom from many types of land disputes.”
